Offered in this lot is a Christian Okoye Kansas City Chiefs road jersey worn circa 1990. The “Nigerian Nightmare” played for the Chiefs from 1987 through 1992, leading the NFL in rushing with 1,480 yards during the 1989 season. During his brief but spectacular NFL career, Okoye was named a First Team All-Pro and was selected to a pair of Pro Bowls. This offered Okoye jersey is red, with his number “35” applied to the chest, back, and shoulders in white and yellow. “OKOYE” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and yellow tackle twill over a matching red nameplate. A Wilson tag with an attached size “46” flag is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS.
