Tino Martinez was a big reason the Yankees had their resurgence in the mid 1990’s. The Yankees first baseman’s arrival in the Big Apple coincided with the team’s first World Series Championship since 1978. In 2000, Martinez hit .258 for the Bronx Bombers and helped lead the club to a one-sided victory over the Mets in the World Series that fall. Used during that World Championship 2000 season, Tino’s Louisville Slugger M356 model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack with a sliver missing. Martinez’s number “24” has been hand written on the knob in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16718) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
