Offered is a 4-set run of 1952 through 1955 Red Man tobacco cards. Red Man's four releases are some of the most beautiful and popular cards of their time. These colorful pieces, distributed on a one-card-per-pack basis in bags of leafy chewing tobacco drew to a close the long-standing relationship between tobacco products and baseball cards. Unless noted, all of the cards have had their tabs removed.
1952 Red Man Tobacco (51) - Near set 51 of 52 cards. Highlights include: #'s 1A Stengel (VG/EX), 2N Ashburn (VG), 3A Berra (FR, mark), 8A Feller (GD/VG), 16N Musial (PR), 17N Reese (VG), 21N Snider (GD) and 23A Williams (GD/VG). Missing #15N Mays for completion;
1953 Red Man Tobacco (52) - Near set 51 of 52 cards plus duplicate. Nine cards have tabs: #'s 14A, 15A, 17A, 9N, 11N, 13N, 15N, 19N and 25N.
