Three crew members of the Enola Gay bomber have signed this 10 x 8-inch photograph. The Enola Gay was a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber best known for dropping the “Little Boy” atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki on August 6th, 1945. This photograph has been signed by Dutch Van Kirk, Paul Tibbets, and Thomas Ferebee. The Enola Gay was named after Tibbets’ mother, Enola Gay Tibbets. Tibbets and Ferebee have inscribed “8-3-90” in addition to their signatures, which have been written in blue marker. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04652).
