Rafael Palmeiro’s first of his 569 career home runs came in a Cubs-Phillies game with a 4th inning bomb on September 9th, 1986. Palmeiro played in 22 games during the 1986 season and hit .247 and swiped a base as he acclimated himself to the Major Leagues. This rookie year Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows outstanding use with a crack in the handle and back barrel. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16665) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
