Offered in this lot are four Louisville Slugger R161 model bats originating from the personal memorabilia collection of 1991 National League MVP Terry Pendleton. The first bat is black and etched on the barrel with “Batting Champion”. Pendleton has signed this bat in silver marker, inscribing “91 Batting Champion” in addition to his signature. The following two bats are tan, and etched with “1991-L.C.S”. Pendleton has signed both in blue marker, inscribing “Game Used 91 League Champs” on the first and “1991 League Champs” on the second. The final bat is also etched with “1991-L.C.S” and it has been signed by numerous members of the 1991 Atlanta Braves. The signatures on this bat include the Hall of Famers Tom Glavine and John Smoltz, as well as Jeff Blauser, Jim Beauchamp, Ron Gant, Dave Justice, Steve Avery, Rafael Belliard, Greg Olson, Brian Hunter, Vinny Castilla, Tommy Gregg, Randy St. Clair, Mark Lemke, Mike Heath, Charlie Leibrandt, Jerry Willard, and several others in black marker. This lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication Services and is accompanied by a LOA from Pendleton.
