Presented in this lot are six bats, including five single-signed and one team-signed bat, from the personal memorabilia collection of 1991 National League MVP Terry Pendleton. Included are two Louisville Slugger R161 model bats each etched on the barrel with “1992 World Series”. Pendleton has signed both bats in blue marker, inscribing “92 World Series” on each bat. The third bat is a Louisville Slugger R161 model bat etched with “1992 – L.C.S.”. Pendleton has signed this bat in blue marker, inscribing “92 League Champs” below his signature. The following two bats are Louisville Slugger San Diego 1992 All-Star Game model bats. One is black, and features Pendleton’s silver marker signature and the inscription “92 All Star Game”. The second bat is tan and is signed and inscribed “92 All Star Game” by Pendleton in blue marker. The final bat in this lot has been signed by more than 15 members of the 1992 American League All-Star team. Signatures include the Hall of Famers Mike Mussina, Cal Ripken Jr., Paul Molitor, and Roberto Alomar, as well as Rick Aguilera, Roger Clemens, Ruben Sierra, Kevin Brown, Mark Langston, Chuck Knoblauch, Roberto Kelly, Charles Nagy, Travis Fryman, Robin Ventura, Joe Carter, Sandy Alomar Jr., Juan Guzman, Jeff Montgomery, and several others. The single-signed bats in this lot come with individual COAs from Beckett Authentication Services (G38098 through G38102), while the team-signed 1992 All-Star Game bat has been pre-certified by Beckett.
