Offered here is Hall of Famer Pee Wee Reese’s coaches’ contract for the 1959 season. Reese retired as a player after the 1958 season, the first for the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Reese’s coaching acumen must have paid off for the Dodgers, as they stormed to the World Series title in 1959, defeating the Chicago White Sox in a six-game set. This contract is for the value of $12,000 for the season, and it has been signed by both Reese and Bavasi in black marker. These signed contracts come with a LOA from JSA.
