The Hall of Fame center David Robinson was issued this San Antonio Spurs road jersey during the 1998-99 NBA season. Robinson averaged a sterling double-double of 15.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in the 50-game season, leading the Spurs to a 37-13 record and the Midwest Division title as one half of the famed “Twin Towers” with Tim Duncan. Coach Gregg Popovich’s club stormed through the Western Conference playoffs before defeating the New York Knicks in a decisive five-game NBA Finals. Robinson upped his game in the Finals, averaging 16.6 points and 11.8 rebounds per game as the Spurs claimed their first NBA title. Robinson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
