The late 1990s were a return to greatness for the most storied franchise in Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees. Led by a mix of up-and-coming players as well as veterans, the Yanks won the World Series in 1996 (their first since 1978), and again in 1998, 1999 and 2000. The New York Yankees' 1998 team is widely considered to be one of the greatest teams in baseball history. The team finished with a franchise record regular-season standing of 114–48. In the postseason, they swept the Texas Rangers in the American League Division Series, won the American League pennant by beating the Cleveland Indians four games to two in the American League Championship Series, and swept the San Diego Padres to capture their 24th World Series. Including the playoffs, the 1998 Yankees won a total of 125 games against 50 losses, an MLB record. The 125 wins (regular season and playoffs combined) was the most by a championship team, surpassing the previous record of 116, set by their cross-town rivals, New York Mets in 1986.

Offered is a commemoration of that 1998 Yankees team, with a Bernie Williams home New York Yankees jersey signed by 25 members of the 1998 Yankees World Series Champion team.  The white jersey with navy-blue pinstripes features the 1998 World Series logo patch on the right sleeve over an embroidered Russell logo in navy blue, with the iconic interlocking “NY” embroidered in navy-blue on the front left, and the number “51” in navy-blue on the back.
