Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among nearly 3,800 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, just eighteen examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. Mickey Mantle gave New York Yankee fans a taste of his greatness in 1954. He set personal bests for runs, home runs and RBI in addition to hitting a respectable .300. As captured on this Bowman card, the slugger is bedecked in his gray road flannel. The card's colors are bright and Mantle's image is very sharp. All four corners feature sharp, essentially never-touched character. A splendid piece, in Near Mint to Mint condition.
