Presented is a large collection (172) of signed U.S. Postal Service First Day Covers, with the signatures of Major League Baseball players from the 20th Century. Multiple “Jackie Robinson” commemorative First Day covers and multiple postmarks from Cooperstown, New York are included within the 172 separate items in this collection.

Among the Baseball Hall of Fame member signatures are those of Billy Herman, Enos Slaughter, Ralph Kiner, Robin Roberts, Duke Snider, Bill Mazeroski, Whitey Ford, Robin Roberts, Red Schoendienst, Jim Bunning, Stan Musial, Lefty Gomez, Fergie Jenkins and Walter Alston. Other notable baseball signatures include Bucky Walters, Sal Maglie, Carl Erskine, Don Larsen, Johnny Podres, Mike Scott, Del Ennis, Ron Cey, Jim Kaat, Ron Reed, Larry Bowa and Scott McGregor. There are multiple signatures on many of the items, and some duplicates of signatories and themes. This entire lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
