The Cleveland Indians slugging first baseman and Hall of Famer Jim Thome used this bat during the 2001 season in which he clubber 49 home runs. The Adirondack/Rawlings 491B model bat is un-cracked and shows good game use. The barrel displays many ball marks with white leather scuffs and cleat impressions. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and the knob has been taped to enhance the grip. A strip tag is present on the knob with “THOME B-01-A” handwritten in ballpoint. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17829) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
