Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story had a career-year in 2018 as he established career-highs in home runs (37), RBI (108) and batting average (.291) as he led the Rockies to the playoffs. Story wore this black Colorado Rockies helmet during the 2018 season and has been photo matched to 120 games by Resolution Photomatching where he hit 30 of his season total 37 home runs.
This size 7 ½ Rawlings S100 Pro Comp style all-black helmet has a matte finish and displays heavy game use. There are cracks on the top of the crown, paint chips and some of the finish has been peeled off. This helmet features the Rockies “CR” logo decal in purple and white affixed to the front of the helmet. The left ear has an ear flap and Story’s number “27” and the “POSTSEASON” logo are affixed to the back of the helmet in purple and white decals. The all-black interior padding is still intact with the Rawlings and MLB Authentic labels sewn on in opposite sides. This helmet comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (425746) who have photo matched this helmet to 120 games (see LOA for the games). Additionally, there is an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD418251), which lists 10 specific games in which Story wore this helmet, including three playoff games.
