Presented is a framed display celebrating the 1969 World Series Champion New York Mets, including signed photographs of key Mets players. The 1969 World Series was won by the New York Mets in five games over the Baltimore Orioles, one of the greatest upsets in Series history, as that Orioles squad was considered to be one of the finest ever. The World Series win earned the team the sobriquet "Miracle Mets", as they had risen from the depths of mediocrity (the 1969 team had the first winning record in Mets history). There are eight 3½ x 5½-inch color photographs mounted in a white paper matte with blue borders arrayed within a 23 x 25-inch brown and black wood frame with glass. In the center of the display is mounted a ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1969 World Series, played at Shea Stadium in New York.

The photos include, clockwise from the top left, Tom Seaver, Cleon Jones, Ron Swoboda, Jerry Koosman, Tommie Agee, Gil Hodges, Donn Clendenon, and Bud Harrelson. Seaver has signed his name in blue pen across the top of his image. Jones has signed his name in blue marker and inscribed #12” at the bottom of his photo. Swoboda has signed his name in blue ink across the center of his photo. Koosman has signed his name in blue marker and inscribed “#36” below his signature. Agee has signed his name in blue marked and inscribed “20#” on the left side of his photo. Clendenon has signed his name in blue ink across his jersey. Harrelson has signed his name in blue marker across the bottom of his photo. This display comes with a LOA from JSA (X55722).
