Alex Rodriguez simply exploded offensively in 2007, leading the American League with a Ruthian 54 home runs, as well as taking the award for slugging, most RBI and runs scored. Rodriguez joined an elite group of Yankee sluggers that includes Ruth, Maris and Mantle for single-season home runs and this is one of his bats that made him one of the game's most formidable hitters.

Rodriguez’s Louisville Slugger C271L bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions that can be seen on the barrel from repeated ball contact along with cleat imprints, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. A moderate coating of Mota Stick has been applied to the handle. “31.7” and a star have been handwritten in silver marker on the knob. AROD has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “2007 Game Used” and “500 HR Club”. This is a tremendous bat from one of baseball’s greatest sluggers in what arguably was his finest individual season. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17190) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from Alex Rodriguez for the game use and signature.
