In 2006 “The Caveman” shaved his beard, cut his hair and went a three-year hitting tear where he batted .286 with 53 homers helping New York to two consecutive post-season appearances. The BWP-243 model bat is un-cracked and displays outstanding use. The barrel has several tremendous ball marks complete with white leather scuffs and ink transfers. There is the impression from a weighted batting donut visible and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17174) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
