Offered are the signatures of 29 members of the 2000 New York Yankees on a Rawlings World Series Championship commemorative bat. All the signatures are in blue marker on the barrel of the bat, and notable signatures include Paul O’Neill, Andy Pettitte, David Cone, Joe Torre, Willie Randolph, Roger Clemens, Bernie Williams and Derek Jeter. The Rawlings “Big Stick” baseball bat is engraved, “2000 Subway Series Yankees 4 Mets 1 New York Yankees World Champions 19 of 200” in black script. This was the first World Series contested between two New York teams since the 1956 World Series. Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter was named the World Series Most Valuable Player.
