Presented is a lineup card from the September 7, 2017 debut of Washington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles. The 11 x 17-inch white cardstock sheet has pre-printed lineup boxes for the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington National game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. in red, white, blue and black. The starting lineup and available players are written in blue marker, with substitutions in red marker, signed at the bottom by former Phillies manager Pete Mackanin in black marker.
The Nats promoted Robles to the major leagues for the first time on September 7, 2017. He became the youngest man to play in the 2017 Major League Baseball season as he made his debut that day against the Phillies, flying out to deep right field in a pinch-hit appearance in the bottom of the fifth. The Nationals beat the Phillies that day, 4-3. Robles finished the regular season with the Nationals having played in 13 games, batting 6-for-24 (.250) with a double and two triples and driving in four runs. He made the post-season playoff roster and appeared in two games in the 2017 National League Division Series, striking out in his only plate appearance but scoring one run.
