Presented is a lot of two Louisville Slugger baseball bats, signed by Hall of Famers Robin Yount and Tony Gwynn, two Major League Baseball players in the modern era who played for one team their entire careers. The first item in this lot is the signature of Robin Yount on the sweet spot of a Louisville Slugger P72 bat. Yount has signed his name in blue marker. Yount spent his entire 20-year career in Major League Baseball as a shortstop and center fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers (1974–93). He won two American League Most Valuable Player awards. In 1999, Yount was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z68406).

The second item in this lot is the signature of Tony Gwynn on the end of the barrel of a Louisville Slugger bat which commemorates Gwynn as a member of the 3,000 Hit club. Gwynn has signed his name in black marker just above the logo “Commemorative Series 3000 Hits” engraved in black. His number “19” is engraved in black on the sweet spot, and “Limited Edition 1803 of 3000” is stamped in black just above the handle. Gwynn played right field for 20 seasons (1982-2001) for the San Diego Padres, and won eight batting titles in his career, tied for the most in National League history. He is considered one of the best and most consistent hitters in baseball history. Gwynn had a .338 career batting average, never hitting below .309 in any full season. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007, his first year of eligibility. This item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (Z22565).
