Barry Bonds spent the first seven seasons of his prolific career with the Pittsburgh Pirates where he collected 176 of his now all-time record 762 home runs and was the National League MVP in 1990 and 1992. In his last three seasons in the Steel City before signing with the San Francisco Giants, Bonds helped lead the Pirates to three-straight NL East Division titles.
Offered here is a Pittsburgh Pirates knit jacket worn by Bonds during his time in Pittsburgh. This zipper-front all-black jacket is a size L and manufactured by Starter of New Haven, CT and features “PIRATES” sewn on in yellow felt with white tackle twill backing. The sleeve ends and waist are lined in a ribbed material with black and yellow stripes. The front has two pockets, one on each side of the zipper and located toward the waist. The Starter logo is embroidered in white on lower left sleeve. Bonds’ number “24” is handwritten in black marker on the Starter tag on the inside collar. A great early-career Barry Bonds game worn item.
