This early 1990s Louisville Slugger model C243 has Chicago White Sox slugger Frank Thomas’ number 35 written in black marker on the knob and contains a heavy application of pine tar on the handle. According to PSA/DNA letter of authentication it is consistent with bats ordered by Thomas during the 1991-1992 labeling period that contained a “Baseball Promotion” notation and may not have been intended for game use. The barrel does contain evidence of light to moderate use with some blue ink transfers, stitch impressions and bat rack marks. PSA/DNA sticker (#1B05851) is affixed to the top of the barrel; comes with full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
