Known for his game-breaking runs and dynamic return game, Brian Westbrook was one of the more feared skilled-position players in the NFL in his nine-year career. He wrapped up his career in 2010 with the 49ers after a long stint with the Eagles, scoring five touchdowns that season while averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Westbrook certainly put in some work in this game-used, red 49ers jersey from an October 31st home tilt against the Denver Broncos. Navy blue, likely from Broncos defenders’ helmets, is smeared all over the white stitched No. 20 on the back of Westbrook’s jersey. The front also shows a sign of wear from the game, as the stitched No. 20 is stained brown by what looks to be dirt or mud. Westbrook carried two times for four yards in the contest and also hauled in one pass for nine yards. The jersey features a red “International Series” patch with white writing on the left chest, with a white 49ers logo stitched under the neck and a tag on the inside that reads “10-44” for the year and size. The mesh jersey has stretch sides with three white stripes on the sleeves and Reebok patches sewn onto both shoulders. The jersey is PSA/DNA certified, No. N70001.
