Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado used this Louisville Slugger C271 model bat to hit his 38th home run of the 2015 season and 66th of his career off of San Diego Padres’ pitcher Tyler Ross during the September 10th, 2015 game. This bat has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the top of the first inning at-bat when he connected for the home run. The next day, Arenado broke the handle of this bat during the September 11, 2015 game hitting against Seattle’s Hisashi Iwakuma in the top of the 1st.
This Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows great game use with a handle crack. There are many ball marks with white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The knob has been stamped with the bat’s specs and the handle has a moderate coat of pine tar applied. Arenado has signed the bat and inscribed, “38th HR” and his number “28” in silver marker. This bat comes with MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ748721) for the game use, authenticating that this bat was broken during the top of the first inning of the September 11th, 2015 game and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature. This bat also comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426039), who have photo matched this bat to his 38th home run of the season during the September 10th, 2015 game.
