Offered in this lot are two game used baseballs hit for home runs by two of the game’s brightest stars. The first ball is an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. stamped baseball that was hit for a home run by Rockies star third baseman Nolan Arenado. Arenado sent this ball that was pitched by Atlanta Braves pitcher Tyrell Jenkins into the Rockies bullpen in Coors Field during the bottom of the first inning of the July 24th, 2016 game. This was Arenado’s 25th home run of the season and 95th of his career. This ball displays excellent game use with bat marks and other abrasions. Arenado has signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot and inscribed “HR 95” and “28”. This ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB792893).
The second ball in this lot is also an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. stamped baseball and this orb was sent into the Rockies bullpen in Coors Field on September 29th, 2007 by Trevor Story off Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler in the bottom of the fourth inning. This was Story’s final home run of 2017, his 24th of the season and 51st for his career. This ball displays excellent game use and Story has signed this ball in blue pen across the sweet spot and inscribed “27”. This ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB857999). Each baseball comes with an individual LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
