Even at age 37, Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez was still highly productive in the 2000 season. Martinez led the American League in RBI with 145, while also clubbing 37 home runs and maintaining a solid .324 batting average.               

Martinez wore this Russell Athletic size 48 button-down Mariners jersey during the 2000 season. This jersey features “MARINERS” sewn on and arched across the chest in navy, green and silver tackle twill. Navy piping surrounds the collar and runs down each side of the buttons. “MARTINEZ” is sewn on in navy and green on a matching white name plate on the back and his number “11” is sewn on in navy and green. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front tail, along with a “2000” year tag. A Mariners circle patch is sewn on the left sleeve and the MLB logo patch is sewn on in Mariner’s colors on the upper back collar. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190924C12).

Also included in this lot are a matching pair of Martinez’s home white game pants. These pants have navy piping that runs down the side of each leg, and Russell Athletic size “36” tag is sewn in the back inside waistband. Handwritten in black marker is “11” and “Edgar”. There are additional numbers crossed out. Martinez has signed these pants on the upper right leg in blue marker. These items come with a COA from Edgar Martinez.
