The jersey also has remnants of the “7” patch that was worn in August until the end of the 1995 season in tribute to the late Mickey Mantle, making this a great multi-season jersey. Mattingly’s number 23 is sewn on in navy tackle and white twill on the back and “NEW YORK” is sewn on across the chest in navy and white tackle twill.
