Offered in this lot are two game used bats from 500 Home Run Club member Gary Sheffield. The first bat is a 2008 Louisville Slugger R205 model bat that displays excellent game and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. Sheffield has signed this bat in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used 2008”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18070) for the game use.
The second bat is also from the 2008 season. This Zinger Model X21 bat displays excellent game and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The handle has been taped on the lower handle to enhance the grip. Sheffield has signed this bat in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used 2008”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18071) for the game use. Both items have been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
