The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim drafted Mike Trout in 2009 out of Millville, New Jersey, and he made a brief appearance with the big club during the 2011 season, before becoming one of the biggest stars in Major League Baseball over the past decade. Trout is an eight-time MLB All-Star, and received the American League Most Valuable Player award in 2014 and 2016 (finishing second in the 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2018 votes), Offered is a lot of two Mike Trout signed and inscribed full tickets, from his MLB debut and his first MLB hit.
The first item in this lot is a full ticket from Trout’s debut appearance on July 8, 2011 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim against the Seattle Mariners. Trout has signed his name in blue marker across the top of the ticket, and inscribed “MLB Debut” below his signature. Trout made his debut as the Angels centerfielder, batting ninth, and went 0-for-3 in his debut appearance. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ348828).
The second item in this lot is a full ticket from Trout’s first hit in the majors, July 9, 2011 against the Seattle Mariners in Anaheim. Trout has signed his name across the center of the ticket in blue marker, and inscribed “1st MLB Hit” below his signature. In the bottom of the third inning, Trout hit a ground ball in front of the mound with two men on, driving home the Angels first run in a 9-3 victory over the Mariners. He finished the day 1-for-3 with two runs scored. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC128160).
