The American League scored the deciding run in the 8th inning of a 4-3 victory over the National League in the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, played in St. Louis. Jonathan Papelbon picked up the victory, with Mariano Rivera notching the save for the AL. Carl Crawford – who made a fantastic play in the 7th inning of a tie game, robbing Brad Hawpe of a home run – was named Most Valuable Player.

Presented here is a 2009 American League All-Star Game ring, which features a round CZ set on a beautiful large red colored stone. “ALL STAR GAME 2009”, along with an MLB logo and images of stars, reads around the bezel setting. One side of the ring features the American League logo above an image of a stadium facade. The 2009 MLB All-Star Game logo is shown on the opposite side, along with a stadium facade and “ST LOUIS”.  This ring – marked “STERL” – is an approximate size 9 ½ and weighs approximately 28.4 grams. This ring comes with a LOA from Jacqueline Autry.
