Played on July 11th in Pittsburgh, the 2006 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was one of the more memorable in the contest’s history. The American League and National League teams were locked in a pitcher’s duel, with the NL leading 2-1 entering the 9th inning. Michael Young hit a two-run triple off of closer Trevor Hoffman to give the AL a 3-2 lead. That would be the final score, as Mariano Rivera closed the door in the bottom of the 9th inning, earning the save. Young was named the Most Valuable Player.

Presented here is a 2006 American League All-Star Game ring, featuring a round orange colored stone set on a large black stone face. “ALL STAR 2006” is displayed around the bezel setting along with a small image of the MLB logo. One side of the ring is centered by the American League logo, with “PITTSBURGH” above. The opposite side displays the 2006 MLB All-Star Game logo as well as an image of the Roberto Clemente Bridge. “STERL” is marked inside the band of this approximate size 9 ring. This item weighs approximately 30.1 grams. This ring comes with a LOA from Jacqueline Autry.
