A mustachioed band of rogues, Oakland’s “Swingin’ A’s” were one of modern baseball’s few “dynasty” teams winning three consecutive World Series from 1972-1974, Oakland was the first team to turn the trick since the New York Yankees of the early 1950s and the last until the Yankees of the late 1990s. The A’s finished first in the AL West in 1975, but fell to the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS to end their run of World Series titles.
29 members of the 1975 Oakland A’s have signed this Official American League Lee MacPhail stamped baseball. Manager Al Dark signed his name on the sweet spot, with other signatures that include Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers, Sal Bando, Joe Rudi, Ray Fosse, Bob Winkles, Dal Maxvill, Wes Stock, Billy North, Bert Campaneris, Glenn Abbott, Gene Tenace, Claudell Washington, Ken Holtzman, Jim Holt and several others. This item comes with a LOA from JSA.
