Boston Red Sox bench coach and 15-year Major League veteran Mike Stanley wore and signed this gray Red Sox road jersey gifted to United States Women’s Soccer National Team icon Michelle Akers. Stanley, who caught Nolan Ryan’s final no-hitter, has signed the back of the jersey just below the nameplate in black marker, inscribing “02” after his signature. This jersey is a gray road button-down, with “BOSTON” sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. “STANLEY” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill over a matching gray nameplate, while his number “20” is sewn below in red and navy tackle twill. A memorial armband for Ted Williams is sewn on the right sleeve, while a Russell Athletic logo is sewn on the left sleeve.
