United States icon Michelle Akers wore this navy and red United States Women’s National Soccer Team warm up suit. Akers recorded over 155 caps and 105 goals for the United States, winning a pair of FIFA Women’s World Cup titles and the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics gold medal with the USWNT. The former collegiate All-American scored the inaugural goal in women’s national team history in 1985 and was named the Golden Boot winner at the first FIFA Women’s World Cup in 1991, with 10 goals.

This offered warm up suit consists of a long-sleeved jacket and long pants. The jacket is navy, with red accents on the sides and arms. A USWNT crest and a Nike swoosh are sewn on the chest, while “USA” is sewn on the back in white. A Nike size “L” tag with Akers’ number “10” hand-written in black marker is sewn on the back inside collar. The pants are navy as well, with a white and red Nike swoosh sewn on the left leg. A Nike size “L” tag with Akers’ number “10” hand-written in black marker is sewn on the back waistband. This lot comes with a LOA signed by Michelle Akers herself. A portion of the proceeds shall benefit the Michelle Akers Horse Rescue & Outreach Inc.
