For the first time since the club to Minnesota, the Twins won the American League and did so with a franchise record 102 wins – a record that still stands today. Zoilo Versalles was the AL MVP and Tony Oliva won the batting title with a .321 average. Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew was limited to 113 games due to injury, but still led the squad with 25 home runs.

25 members of that 1965 American League champion Minnesota Twins team have signed this baseball. “MINNESTOTA 1965” is handwritten in blue pen across the manufacturer’s sweet spot. Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew has signed his name on the other sweet spot. Other signatures include Jim Kaat, manager Sam Mele, Mel Nelson, Dwight Siebler, Billy Martin, Frank Quilici, Jimmie Hall, Sandy Valdespino, Hal Naragon, Jim Grant, Jerry Zimmerman, Joe Nossek, Dick Stigman, Garry Roggenburk, Jim Perry and others. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA.
