The addition of Roger Maris paid immediate dividends for the Redbirds to go along with the dominant pitching of Hall of Famer Bob Gibson, who was the winning pitcher in Games 1, 4 & 7 of the World Series.
24 members of the 1967 World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals have signed this Official National League Warren Giles stamped baseball. Hall of Famers Red Schoendienst and Orlando Cepeda have signed their names on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Hall of Famers Bob Gibson and Steve Carlton; Roger Maris, Tim McCarver, Curt Flood, Larry Jaster, Ed Spiezio, Ray Washburn, Nellie Briles, Dal Maxvill, Bob Milliken, Bob Tolan, Phil Gagliano, Dick Sisler and others. “1967 CARDINALS WORLD CHAMPS” is handwritten in blue pen along the stitching on the Spalding stamped panel.
