Presented here is an Official 2006 World Series Allan H. Selig stamped baseball signed by over 26 members of the 2006 American League champion Detroit Tigers baseball team. The Tigers won the American League Wild Card in 2006, finishing the regular season with 95 victories. In the playoffs, they upset the Oakland Athletics and New York Yankees to reach the Fall Classic. There they fell to the high-powered St. Louis Cardinals in a five-game series. Although the outcome was not perfect, this playoff was the introduction for a new generation of Tigers stars.
