The Bronx Bombers won the World Series in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000, pushing their record number of championships to 26. The 1998 team was perhaps the best of the bunch, compiling 114 regular season wins behind the “Core Four” of Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte, and Jorge Posada.
This offered Official 1998 World Series baseball has been signed by 29 members of that historic 1998 World Champion Yankees team. Soon-to-be Hall of Famer Derek Jeter and Hall of Famer Joe Torre have signed their names on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera and Tim Raines; Bernie Williams, Paul O’Neill, Andy Petttitte, David Wells, David Cone, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada, Willie Randolph, Joe Girardi, Scott Brosius, Daryl Strawberry and others.
