George H. W. Bush our 41st president wrote this letter on his personal letterhead to J.D. Daniel, Regional Director of the First Tee World Golf Foundation. The signature is in black ink, grade 8. The 5” x 7” stationary is framed in mahogany and protected by glass. Its header displays “George Bush” in blue at the top, with the address “10000 Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77024” and phone/fax numbers at the foot. The typed content of the letter says:“Dear JD, Thanks for your letter of February 14th. I wish you well as Regional Director of The First Tee and have written Tod Leiweke, as well. I appreciate very much having the “DBLITY” pin given to you by my dear friend and yours Knox McConnell. What a great, enthusiastic man he was. Good luck and warm best wishes.” An LOA from James Spence Authentication accompanies this document. This is errantly listed in catalog as written by George W Bush, but is indeed his father George H.W. Bush.
