Presented is a Sandy Koufax signed and inscribed limited-edition Rawlings Gold Glove.  The Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher has signed his name in silver marker on the middle finger of the black, handcrafted leather baseball glove. Koufax has inscribed, also in silver marker, “62 NL MVP 63 65 WS MVP” below his signature. On the third finger of the left-handed glove Koufax has inscribed in silver marker “4 No Hitters 63, 65, 66 CY Hall of Fame 1972”. The legend “The Gold Glove Co.” is embroidered in gold along the fourth finger.  The glove is inscribed “3/12” in silver marker on the heel of the glove.

Koufax, a lefty, pitched 12 seasons for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles from 1955 to 1966. Hailed as one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history, Koufax's career peaked with a run of six outstanding years from 1961 to 1966. He was an All-Star for six seasons and was the National League's Most Valuable Player in 1963. He won three Cy Young Awards in 1963, 1965, and 1966, by unanimous votes, making him the first three-time Cy Young winner in baseball history and the only one to win three times when one overall award was given for all of major league baseball instead of one award for each league.
