Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Randolph was presented with this crystal bowL award for his selection to the 1977 American League All-Star team as the game was played in his home stadium, Yankee Stadium.

This crystal bowl award comes in two pieces – the bowl itself and an approximate 10-inch diameter octagon wood base. The bowl has a 4 ½-inch base and rounds out to an approximate 8-inch diameter in the middle and 6 ¼ inches at the top. The 1977 All-Star Game logo is etched in white on the front. The wood base has pins of each American League team, two on each side and the American League pin by itself on one panel, with one panel blank. A gold colored 1 ½ x 3-inch plate is on the top of the base and reads “PRESENTED TO WILLIE RANDOLPH FOR HIS PARTICIPATION AS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEAGUE TEAM IN THE MAJOR LEAGUE ALL STAR GAME YANKEE STADIUM, JULY 19, 1977.” and a facsimile signature of Lee MacPhail and “LEE MAC PHAIL AMERICAN LEAGUE PRESIDENT”. This item is in good condition and derives directly from the Willie Randolph Collection and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
