Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits.
This MacGregor MG20 fielding glove was used by Randolph during his time with the Yankees in the 1980’s. This glove has “MacGregor” printed on the outer thumb and the logo black “M” in a red circle. The wrist strap has “Pro Lock” printed, along “MacGregor” and “HAND CRAFTED” printed on the outer pinky. This glove displays heavy use with dirt and wear stains on the palm. Randolph’s number “30” is handwritten on the outer thumb and he signed his name in black marker on the outside middle finger and inscribed “Game Used”. He also inscribed “N.Y. Yankees” in black marker on the outer ring finger. This glove derives directly from the Willie Randolph Collection and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
