Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Following his playing career that ended following the 1992 season, Randolph joined the coaching ranks and re-joined the Yankees in 1994. In 2001, Randolph was the third base coach under manager Joe Torre.

Randolph wore this New York Yankees road jersey for the 2001 World Series. This offered Russell Athletic size 46 button-down road gray Yankees’ features “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has Randolph’s number “30” sewn on in navy and white tackle twill and the right sleeve features the special metallic gold, red, white and blue American League 100th Anniversary patch, while the left sports the 2001 World Series patch. In a solemn tribute to the victims of the September 11th terrorist attack a black mourning band wraps around the lower sleeve. An American flag bordered in yellow covers the MLB patch on the upper back neck. Randolph has signed his name in silver marker on the top of the “0” and inscribed vertically on the sides of the number “2001 World Series” and “Game Used”.
