This official major league baseball, stamped with Commissioner Allan “Bud” Selig’s monograph has been signed boldly in fine blue ballpoint pen by the New York Yankees responsible for the final milestones at the original Yankee Stadium. Second baseman Hal Lanier, who stroked the last hit, Catcher Duke Sims, who hit the last homer in the stadium, and first baseman Mike Hegan, who was the final batter in the stadium all have signed this ball and inscribed what their particular feat was.
