Presented is a multi-signed Louisville Slugger commemorative baseball bat with 35 signatures of the top Major League Baseball players competing in the 1988 MLB All-Star Game, including history home run slugger Barry Bonds. The 1998 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was held on July 7, 1998, at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, the home of the Colorado Rockies of the National League. The first All-Star contest played in the Mountain Time Zone, the American League defeated the National League 13-8. It remains the highest-scoring All-Star Game in MLB history. Starting second baseman Roberto Alomar was the game’s MVP for his three hits, each of which factored in the scoring.

All 35 signatures are in silver marker on the black Barry Bonds-model bat which features the logo of the 1998 All-Star Game on the barrel and the legend “1998 All-Star Game Barry Bonds Denver, Colorado” at the end of the barrel. Bonds has signed his name on the sweet spot between the logo and the legend. Other notable signatures include Baseball Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr., Tony Gwynn, Roberto Alomar, Ivan Rodriguez, Mike Piazza, Craig Biggio, Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Jim Thome, Tom Glavine and Trevor Hoffman as well as Curt Schilling, Sammy Sosa and Chipper Jones. This bat comes with a LOA from Barry Bonds.
