Willie Randolph played from 1976-1988 with the New York Yankees and then returned in 1994 as a coach through the dynasty run of the late 1990s’ and coached with the Yankees until 2004. Having spent 13 of his 18 seasons as a player with the Yankees, Randolph was also co-captain with Ron Guidry from 1986-1988. This lot includes a batting practice jersey and a cold weather jacket dating to the mid 1990’s in the early days of Randolph’s coaching career. Both the jacket and BP Jersey are manufactured by Majestic and are Navy blue. The cold weather jacket features the interlocking “NY” on the front, features the number “30” written in black marker on the inside collar tag, and has been signed by Randolph in silver sharpie. The Batting practice jersey features the word “NEW YORK” across the chest and buttons completely down the jersey. The jersey features a black memorial arm band on the left sleeve and features an embroidered “30” on the reverse which has been signed by Randolph in black Sharpie. Both jackets originate from the collection of the former captain and coach Willie Randolph and come with a signed LOA from Randolph additionally.
