Out of the harsh spotlight of the Big Apple and back in his home state of California, Jackson embarked on the third phase of storied career with the California Angels. In 1985, the season to which this bat dates to, Reggie reached the rare milestone of 500 career home runs, this all but solidifying his berth in baseball's Hall of Fame. The Rawlings 288RJ model bat shows good game use with several ball marks on the barrel along with blue ink transfers and cleat imprints. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and Reggie’s number “44” is written on the knob in white paint. This bat comes directly from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18067) for the game use.
