Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits.

Randolph wore this navy New York Yankees batting helmet during his rookie season in 1976 and during the playoffs and World Series. This helmet displays heavy game use with the interlocking “NY” adhered to the front. Please note that the “NY” is still intact but loose on the upper right “Y”. Randolph’s number “30” is adhered to the front of the brim and on the back. This helmet has a left ear flap that has a horizontal crack above and to the left of the earhole. There are abrasions and chips on the paint and the interior padding shows heavy wear. Randolph has signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used Rookie Helmet”. This item derives from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
