Known as the “Prince of Soul,” Marvin Gaye helped to shape the sound of Motown Records in the 1960s. His many hits include: "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and “Let’s Get It On.” In 1980 Gaye embarked on a European Tour from where this program was produced. This approximately 9.5” x 12.5” program features 20 pages of photos and information on the singer, and also includes a blue ink “Marvin Gaye 80” signature (“7”) just under the covers title. Both covers exhibit moderate wear including scuffs and scrapes, plus quite a few wrinkles and minor creases. The spine contains multiple areas of edge creasing from the spine, and there are remnants of a couple paper clip marks on the top edge of the cover. Marvin Gaye was taken from us much too young, but his beautiful music still lives on today. LOA from noted music expert Roger Epperson Authentication, plus this signed item is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
