For Derek Jeter, 2012 was a milestone year from the Yankees captain as he passed both Paul Waner and Tony Gwynn on the all-time career hits list. This Louisville Slugger P72 is one of the bats he used in his relentless drive to become the first Yankee to reach the 3,000 hits mark. Jeter’s Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows light game use with some scuffs and abrasions on the barrel. The bat’s specs are stamped into the knob and a moderate coat of pine tar coats the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17433) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
